This is my second pair of Papillio sandals with a Birkenstock foot bed. They are the most comfy sandals I've ever owned. My first pair are, well, well worn (bought in 2008), still totally wearable and functional, but I've worn them so much that the support in the foot bed has decreased slightly (I actually didn't realize it though, until I got the new pair) and I wear them all the time, everywhere, inside and outside the house so they are kind of, well, filthy. Gross, really. You know the pair of shoes I'm talking about. The default go to slip on's that get worn probably 365 days a year, to get the mail, water the plants, take out the trash, go to the basement and do laundry, run to the store, take the dog out, just walk around the house in, etc. until they are worn to nothing. I wanted a new "clean" pair for only around the house and I am keeping the old pair for outside until I've worn them to their end. Aside from a couple of simple DIY super glue fixes where the foot bed top was separating from the cork (remember, the sandals are 5 years old and I wear them constantly)I've had no problems with them. I LOVE THEM. You will get your money's worth and your feet will be so happy.

I have oddly wide feet: they're only wide in the very center. (I have collapsed arches.) Over the last few months, I went to about 20 different shoe stores looking for a good walking sandal to wear on my trip to Europe. (Yes, I'm a hard core shopper.) I came up "empty-footed" each time. I was hesitant to order shoes online, but I figured that since I could return them for free, I might as well try. Plus, the price for these was very reasonable.

The sandals arrived today, and they fit like gloves! They are stylish and would suit a variety of ages, I feel. Not only that, but the 10.5 is my exact shoe size. I am so happy to have found a shoe company that understands the shape of my foot!

I am a little concerned about the two side straps, but I am taking a sewing kit with me just in case. I will update my review after my trip on whether or not they held up.

I spent a lot of time researching sandals and reading reviews before deciding to buy these Teva's. I am currently 32 weeks pregnant, and needed a more supportive sandal, something that would give my feet some more support now and as my pregnancy progresses, and something that I could still use after. Let me just say that I found it ALL in the 'chocolate chip' Teva Tirra's... they look great, have been extremely comfortable from the first minute that I put them on (they don't rub AT ALL and haven't required any time to break them in!). They have great arch support, great heel cushioning and comfortable and adjustable straps. They also look really great on the foot, the 'chocolate chip' color is really nice and neutral.

These sandals come highly recommended!

Used to wear Dr. Scholl's high heel sandals. They have styles that are more fashionable and pretty, but always something was wrong. I used to get scrapes, blisters and cuts from wearing Dr. Sholl's that never be comfortable to wear for long walks such as shopping at a mall.

I have never been interested in Crocs since they tend to look least pretty and cheap. Some flats are okay, but I don't wear flats. This sandal though is an exception because of its outstanding comfort. The style is, to me, acceptable at the bottom. However, I could walk for hours on high heels, and they don't hurt my feet nor make tired. It is also durable, and the rubber is very high quality. I have been wearing them daily for over a half of year, no damage nor scratches on visible part. I hope Crocs will make another version of this style.

My size is 7.5 little wider, and size 8 fits perfectly.

I bought the black pair in a size 9 and I wear a size 9 tennis shoe. The crocs fit fine, no overhanging toes or heel, and not too loose or wide. I usually try to find shoes that are a little bit wide because I have a Morton's Neuroma in my left foot and if a shoe is too narrow it causes excruciating pain. These sandals are the perfect width, just wide enough so there's no discomfort, but not so wide that it looks like a flipper. I tried wearing the strap on the back of my heel like a slingback sandal, but the strap kept slipping down. So now I'm wearing the strap over the top of my foot and the shoes stay on just fine. The straps across my toes were kind of snug at first, but after pulling on them and stretching them by hand they feel better. I usually have foot and heel pain if I wear sandals that don't have support and I'm limping by the end of the day, so I usually have to forego the sandals and just wear tennis shoes. I'm hoping these will be my sandals for the summer. So far so good (3 hours and counting). Also, per someone's suggestion, if your crocs are a little too snug, put them in the dryer for 10-15 minutes (just long enough for the dryer to warm up and get the shoes semi warm) and then you can either stuff socks or something in them to stretch them out while they cool off or you can put socks on your feet and wear the sandals for about 30 minutes until they cool off and reshape. I tried this on another pair of crocs that I have and it worked like a charm. Now I can wear them and they're comfortable. So I imagine you can do this with any type of crocs you buy. Keen Whisper has ruined me for all other shoes

I purchased these shoes after looking at dozens! Most were heavy and oddly shaped and very clunky. This shoe is light weight and actually fits nicely to the foot....perhaps a wider foot would find it uncomfortable but I am a medium width and it was a good fit. I did go a size smaller for the best sizing. I used the shoe the first time for trekking in the Galapagos islands. The terrain there is rocky, landings were often wet, we were always getting on and off the zodiak and lava was a major was ever present on our walks. The shoes were comfortable, they provided excellent support and they dried quickly. These things were very important to me since I had sprained my ankle just before arriving on the islands. For the 12 days that I wore these shoes, my ankle never bothered me.
