Excellent sandal

Teva Tirra W Womens Tirra Sandal

Teva Tirra W Womens Tirra Sandal

I'm not a person who usually writes reviews for products that I've purchased, but I have been so impressed with these sandals, and read so many reviews in researching sandals, that I wanted to pass on my experience!

I spent a lot of time researching sandals and reading reviews before deciding to buy these Teva's. I am currently 32 weeks pregnant, and needed a more supportive sandal, something that would give my feet some more support now and as my pregnancy progresses, and something that I could still use after. Let me just say that I found it ALL in the 'chocolate chip' Teva Tirra's... they look great, have been extremely comfortable from the first minute that I put them on (they don't rub AT ALL and haven't required any time to break them in!). They have great arch support, great heel cushioning and comfortable and adjustable straps. They also look really great on the foot, the 'chocolate chip' color is really nice and neutral.

These sandals come highly recommended!

  1. These beat any other sandal i've worn before. Comfort is a 10 on a 10 scale. The straps are nice for adjustable fit. Perfect for any hiker! Has wonderful arch support!

  2. I have feet that bother me alot. I have arthritis in my big toe. I tried several different sandals that didn't help with support at all. I recently purchased these and started wearing them right away. No need to break in. They are very comfortable. I wear them all day long, and I work in a greenhouse so I am in my feet all day. They are worth a second pair!!

  3. I'm usually not one to review products but I felt these sandals needed a review. As soon as I took them out of the box, I felt as if I'm walking on heaven. They are super comfortable and run true to size. I wear between a 7 and 7-1/2 and I went with the 7-1/2 and they are perfect. I have a bad back and they have great arch support and are well made. I own Birkis, Mephisto, Finn Comforts and many other well made "comfy" shoes but I really like these. I'm taking these on a trip for 12 days to Italy and I think they will be perfect. I just ordered 2 more in other colors.

  4. This sandal is a work horse. It's stylish, supports the feet (and I have terrible feet!),and I have had them on almost every day since I got them. I wore them while on vacation, walking good distances through town and waterfront and my feet didn't even hurt afterward. If I could I'd try to get a pair in each color! Past advice said keep them loose, and that is very true. I will likely put some powder on the footbed to keep the feet from sticking and making a "th-th-th-hi-c-c-k" sound while walking, but that is so easily fixed. It has been hot lately so that's why the sound. Fit is pretty true to size. Love, love, love these sandals!

  5. I love the Teva Tirra, and just purchased the virtual pink, but it is not my first pair. I like the fact that the Velcro is adjustable on every part of the foot since I hate to slide around in a sandal. This shoe is great for light hiking and water sports or long walks in the city, and is attractive enough to wear in casual work situations. The ribbon-like straps are tough and hold their color even after being wet over and over. I've never had a problem and don't mind that they are slightly more expensive than the average sandal, they are worth it.

  6. I love these sandals! I have plantar fasciitis and arthritic knees. These are the ONLY sandals I have ever found that I can walk all day in. I wear them on vacations where I walk everywhere and those summer festivals. They are great in the rain and wash off nicely if they get muddy. I have a black pair and now am purchasing a taupe pair. They look decent with a skirt too.

  7. I had falling arches. There was no way I was wearing a sneaker with inserts during the summer months. So I searched and searched and Teva sandals, this type with the all the straps has been a very successful answer to my foot pain. I am pain free, and walking daily outside which was impossible before without incurring pain. I rotate pairs so as not to wear out one. Love em and will buy more. Debbie from Downingtown.

  8. I am a missionary living in Haiti and while home for Christmas I was forced to turn my shopping online since it wasn't the right season to buy sandals in. My goal was to buy sandals which would have good grip on sharp inclines, rocky and rough terrain, and most of all....the DUST in dry season! My first real experience buying shoes online, I would buy these again in a heartbeat. They've gotten wet, they've gotten exceedingly dirty, they've gotten very dusty, and every time they hold up to everything thrown at them. I decided on buying them according to reviews, so if your concern is straps- they work great, adjustable, never had any problems with blisters or discomfort (and with shoes I often do have problems). Excellent shoes, would recommend them to anyone. Fairly lightweight, very durable, and live up to their good reputation. Worth the money for sure!

Sizing note- I bought a half size smaller than I usually do in sandals and they were perfectly sized.

  9. I just bought these sandals after having two ACL surgeries due to slip and fall accidents. These are safe and comfortable. I just went on a dive trip to the British Virgin Islands and they were great in the boat, at the airport, and out to a nice dinner. The only footwear that I needed for everything I did. Great price too!
